I have so many beautiful beach photos and want to scrapbook them all, this one is a favourite from when we visited Rainbow Beach and went on a day trip to Teewah Beach. You have to drive through bush for a while to get here, and its just gorgeous.
I decided to put things on an angle for this layout which I thought looked good at the time but now wish I hadn’t. It makes the whole layout look uneven. I thought it would look a little like a postcard thrown on the table with other mail…..so the other patterned papers were off centre also. I love the colours I chose. Theres a bit of October Afternoon, Heidi Swapp and Pink Paislee, a Kaisercraft template used for the pink texture paste and some Shimelle goodies, Cocoa vanilla studio chipboard and die cuts. Theres some items from my stash that I don’t even know where they have come from. The pink heart paper from Echo Park Paper Co.
And a little bit of vintage trim from my Mum and sisters garage sale hunts in Victoria. They always send me little bits and pieces of goodness from long ago. Look at the little pearls on the trim!
Thanks for visiting, its raining here on a Sunday morning…perfect day for staying in and crafting. Happy days!
I love green! Just google vintage green images and its joyous.
This just makes me happy. So I had an old piece of patterned paper that I love, green of course! I finally found the perfect photo for it.
I was sifting through my drawers and containers pulling out all the lovely green things and pulled this layout together fairly quickly. I really like how it turned out. Most of the items are quite old. The newest item on the layout would be the puffy hearts by Shimelle.
The paper is Crate Paper DIY shop. Maggie Holmes fabric polaroid frame, some Bella Blvd stickers and Shimelle chipboard. Its good to use some old stash, I still love all of the old things. I keep buying new stuff and it inspires me to do new things but I do love to drag out my older stash and scratch through it, theres always a gem to be found.
I stash patterned paper for years…..I have some from 10 years ago and still love it and don’t want to cut it, but lately I have been using it on my layouts, then I get to see it as its featured in a layout in an album, and it makes me happy its not sitting in my paper stash anymore.
Thanks for visiting my little blog.
Just had to make a cute card with lots of old and new bits from my supplies. I found the cute canvas polaroid frame in a box full of old bits and pieces. My favourite washi tape….hard to see it, but it’s the little coloured flowers at the foot of the fence. The house is a cut file on silhouette, it was a houseboat and I have altered it a little, painted with watercolours and a bit of hand doodling in black pen, including the fence.
Quirky and cute! Love it!
Kerri Bradford Studio is new to me. I purchased a travellers notebook kit online, its a digital file and you get loads of pdf and jpg files and you print off whatever you want. I printed some on adhesive backed paper, some on copy paper (good quality) and some I printed straight onto card stock cut down to A4 to fit in my printer.
I love this set, I will post some more pics soon with the rest of the goodies I printed, or check out the kit via the link above. The yellow rose paper is gorgeous, and I might fussy cut some of these out today!
I kept it simple on this page, the roses are so lovely, I didn’t want to cover them with anything else.
I have been enjoying working on my pocket page notebook I got from The Stamp Spot.
Most of this page is Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I love this selfie of Remy & I taken last Christmas school holidays.
One side of the page is a clear plastic sleeve, which I place the photo in and the other side is plain paper.
A friend recently asked me to make her son a 1st birthday card. His party was tonk a truck themed. I found this cute truck on Silhouette. Filled with gems it made the perfect boy card.
Echo park bird cut out with Silhouette Cameo, cocoa vanilla “Hello Lovely” paper, glassine bag, circle of card stock painted with Kaisercraft paint and stamped with a Kaisercraft stamp. Feathers are simple Stories cut on the silhouette also. Blue doily is Doodlebug Design.
Pink Fabulous is by Cocoa Vanilla Studio- Hello Lovely.
